Discreet City / Octavius Williams

Something a little bit different for this edition of "Question of the Week".  This week it’s actually two questions.

Second Question:

For Q#1. I am sticking to my New Year's resolution getting back in shape and eating healthier. I have been in the gym consistently since Jan ( with the exception of 2 weeks due to the flu). I have been working on myself instead of concentrating on being with a relationship. ( I used to be man crazy lol). I am learning to be more appreciative for what I have( I am learning to do that more).

For q#2. mmmm nah.

Question 1: yes I have. I have been more open and letting people in more. In the past, people who I've known for years said that they still dont feel like they "KNOW" me... so i told myself that i would do better with that... I guess its my way of protecting my heart and feelings. In addition, i've been eating better and saving more money

Question 2: yes, i think its sexy... well some... Because that icecream cone that that rapper has, got to go!!! he's a mess, before and after that tatt.... but i think a tear drop or something like that is hot.... as long as he has/can get a good jo.......career with it, i'm good.

Question 1: I stopped making New Years resolutions as long as I strive to be the man God wants me to be I know I'm on the right tract.

Question 2: I can't take anyone with face tatoos seriously so it's a resounding NO for me.

1) I am taking some risks in 2013 and that started with me beginning my path to my future. I will not live up to anyone's expectations about me. I am not going to fulfill anyone's dreams but my own.

2) NO! Tattoos (not too many) are fine but let them have some meaning.

1st Question: NO. I stop making resolutions 10yrs ago. I just live in my truth and the flow of my life will be a constant no matter the date on the calendar.

2nd Question: NO. I once fooled around with this young thug'esque type guy with a tattoo on his neck. I knew he was only good for the masculine booty he provided, so it didn't bother me, but I did not trust him. FACE tattoos takes the shyt too far.

For ?#1 no because I didn't make any, as for ?#2 being that I'm tatted myself I'd be hypocritical if I said no I wouldn't date a brother with tattoo's, as for one on the face as long as it was subtle yes, but anything like Lil Wayne has then no I'd have to pass......

#1 Yes, I made a resolution. Resolutions are fun and help us to set goals for self-improvement. What can be better than that - setting goals? No matter the time or place, all of us should be setting goals for the future, so as we accomplish them we have a mark of personal achievement. It’s MY goal! Thus far I have been moving closer and closer in the direction of achieving the aim of my resolutions. ( just 2 specific goals for 2013). Later in the year, as 2013 draws to a close, I will tell you all what they were and how "well" I did.

#2, Yes. I'm old fashion, but also progressive, so it just depends on the person, the size, the actual symbol, and how many other tats they got. The body, in and of itself, can be, and is beautiful WITHOUT TATTOOS. I’m not a big fan of tattoos for the simple fact that most are irreversible, or very hard to undo.

I'm just plain, bring me one or two tats and I'm fine. Anything else is over kill. Too much of anything is a bad thing - <<<< an age old, dyed in the wool ADAGE that remains true even in this day and age of being, "tatted out, tatted up, tatted down, and tat crazy."

Some research needs to be done on the meaning of a tear drop tattoo. I may be wrong, but it is, to my knowledge and understanding, associated with gang initiation. I don't want to start rumors, but I have heard the symbolism behind a tear drop tattoo is not good - it's a very bad look - if the symbolism behind it's original meaning is correct.

Tear for either how many you have killed or how many homies you have had killed. I cant remember which one but that is what I heard.

That's it. That's exactly what I have heard too. How true it is I don't know, but I am pretty sure it has some truth behind it. I would suppose that not everybody who has a tear drop is a killer, but I believe that many who do are killers. Why else would you get it? Perpin' ain't a good look either. As they say around the way... Perpin will get you ^**(_)*&^^&&^%^

Question 1) Yes...my resolution was to focus on myself and less on trying to find "him". I've been in the gym, going out more, and meeting lots of new ppl.

Question 2.) HELL NO! Body tats, cool. FACE tats? I work for a corporation and my coworkers can't take you seriously with mess like that on your face. I think it just takes away from what I should be attracted to in the first place.
